These iconic t-shirts are designed by Meg Lemieur and Bri Barton, the artists who designed the Waterways Illustration. Each design represents a different aspect of oil and gas impacts on the ecosystems of Southwest PA, the role of activism, and the rights that should be protected for all Pennsylvanians. These T-shirts are through Sustain U which is a Coalfield Development company that offers job training and new opportunities to workers who want to start new careers away from the coalfields.
Each shirt is a crazy-soft sustainable tee that uses an equivalent of up to 6 recycled plastic water bottles. All yarn is spun, knit, fabric dyed and finished in the U.S.A. 4.2-ounce, 50% Repreve® polyester from recycled plastic bottles/25% organic, US-grown cotton/25% Tencel TMModal, 30 singles 25% Repreve® polyester from recycled plastic bottles/25% black polyester/25% organic, US-grown cotton/25% Tencel TMModal (Aluminum Grey, Vino Red) with a 1x1 rib knit neck, shoulder to shoulder taping and side seams with Tear-Away label.
