About the Event
The Westmoreland Sanitary Landfill has received final approval for their Leachate Evaporator. As we know, evaporating leachate means that the very air we breathe will be contaminated with toxic and radioactive particulate matter. Please join us for a meeting at the Rostraver Public Library on February 8th at 5:30PM to discuss our continued actions against the DEP and the Westmoreland Sanitary Landfill. We will be discussing experiences with the landfill and asking for support on actions that will alleviate the numerous issues with the landfill.
