About the Event
During this event we will explore the benefits of winter sowing native seeds (save money, minimal effort, jump-start growth of plants) and provide materials and tips for preparing greenhouses from previously-used plastic jugs. Native seed species and soil will be provided. 1 jug will be provided per registered guest. Feel free to bring additional CLEAN, clear or frosted jugs if you wish to grow a larger number of plants. Education regarding overwintering care (super minimal), transplanting, and seed collecting for next year will also be shared. Please bring your own garden gloves if you need them.
