MAWC Community Meeting

Did you know that fracking a single well can consume between 1.5 and 9.2 million gallons of water? Many operators in Westmoreland County draw this water directly from the Beaver Run Reservoir, which also supplies drinking water for almost 150,000 people.

Visit us at the Delmont Public Library to get updated information on our campaign to restrict industrial water withdrawal during periods of drought, and join us in taking action! Together, we can ensure that our water is conserved for residents first - Not fracking.
