Clean Air for All was inspired by the Level Green Elementary School, which is surrounded by 4 proposed well pads in Westmoreland County. Protect PT offered free air monitoring to the school but the school board refused. The baby bird holds the sign knowledge is power to symbolize the importance of knowing the quality of your air.
These iconic t-shirts are designed by Meg Lemiur and Bri Barton, the artists who designed the Waterways Illustration. Each design represents a different aspect of oil and gas impacts on the ecosystems of Southwest PA, the role of activism, and the rights that should be protected for all Pennsylvanians. These T-shirts are through Sustain U which is a Coalfield Development company that offers job training and new opportunities to workers who want to start new careers away from the coalfields.
